Books Worth Telling You About

I have always loved books.  Before the time of the internet and ebooks I had an extensive home library that took up half a standard sized bedroom.  I even had a full-time business selling used books online at one time, with a 20' x 20' room filled floor to ceiling with books.  When ebooks and the Kindle device came out I was reluctant at first, but once I tried it, I was hooked.  And at the time of the creation of this page I am currently nearing 1000 books on my kindle. (See my Shelfari there on the right, that includes all of the books currently on my Kindle, most unread so far.)

In my five decades of being a reader, I've come across some books that were so good I just had to share them with someone.  I've lent out paper books (some never to came back), I've gifted additional copies of my favorite books, and I've even loaned out my eBooks purchased through Amazon.  But I've only done these things with books that I felt were just too good to keep to myself.

That's what I am devoting this page too...just books that I've personally read and would give them an Amazon rating of at least 4 or 5 Stars.  I am not including specific details about the books, you will need to visit Amazon for that.  The books are in no particular order, although the most recently read books are higher in the list.  Therefore books at the bottom of the list are no less in ratings, its just been a longer time since I've read them.
